THE NEW FIVE P’S OF MARKETING

A Masterclass with Eka Ruola - Chief Creative Officer of Nitro Group

The classic 4P model – Product, Price, Place, Promotion – has long been a foundational framework for the entire marketing industry.

However, the rational, old-school model needed an emotional counterpart for the modern world and modern customers. Eka Ruola, one of Finland’s most awarded creative leaders and the author of The New 4 P’s of Marketing, spent years building a new framework to complement the original model: People, Purpose, Platform and Passion.
And now there’s a fifth: Planet.
This is not a sustainability lecture. It’s a strategic and creative masterclass on how brands can become more customer‑oriented — and how they can turn the pressure of conscious consumption, EU green claims regulation and radical transparency into a genuine competitive advantage. You’ll learn how to do the same.

WHY IT’S WORTH IT

A rare opportunity: Spend a full afternoon with one of the most influential creative thinkers in Northern Europe — in a group of only 20 people.

A proven framework, freshly extended: Eka’s New 4P’s model has already been applied to some of Finland’s most recognised brands. The fifth P, Planet, connects this thinking to the most urgent business challenge of the decade.

Creative and strategic in equal measure: This session is not about compliance or reporting. It’s about what responsible brand‑building looks and feels like — in strategy and in storytelling.

Small group, deep conversation: With a maximum of 20 participants, you’re not an audience. You’re part of a working session. Expect to think out loud, get challenged and leave with more than you came with.

Immediately applicable: Whether you work in brand strategy, creative direction or marketing communications, you’ll walk away with a clear lens for evaluating and developing your own work.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

  • You work in brand strategy, creative direction, marketing communication or design.
  • You’re facing growing pressure around sustainability claims, ESG communication or purpose‑driven branding — and want a creative framework, not a legal checklist.
  • You want to understand how the most future‑proof brands are being built right now.
  • You’re interested in what Northern European brand culture can teach markets like Hungary and Central Europe.
  • You prefer serious, small‑group professional conversations over conference‑style talks.

THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF

  • You’re looking for marketing fundamentals — this session assumes professional experience.
  • You want a theoretical overview with no connection to practice.
  • You’re expecting a greenwashing how‑to — Eka’s point is precisely the opposite.
  • You prefer large, anonymous audiences over active participation.

PROGRAMME

The New Five P’s: People, Purpose, Platform, Passion — and Planet

Eka walks through the evolution of his marketing framework: why the classic 4P model no longer explains modern brand success; what the new five P’s mean in real life; and why Planet is not just a moral obligation but a creative and strategic opportunity.

Workshop & Q&A

In a group of no more than 20 people, participants bring their own brands, briefs and challenges. Eka challenges assumptions, reframes problems and demonstrates — through real cases from Finland and beyond — what brave, responsible brand‑building looks like when it’s done right.

Participants are encouraged to arrive with a specific brand challenge or project in mind.
