About the workshop

Modern stories do not end with the last sentence. A 3-day workshop designed for writers, creators and producers on the methods and potentials of transmedia storytelling.

What is transmedia storytelling?

“Transmedia is a wonderland of opportunity empowered for the 21st Century. It is the point at which storytelling and technology intersect. It is the art of communication that never sleeps, constantly travelling from one medium to another, from online to offline and vice versa, and engaging audiences to co-create stories.”
 Sara Božanić //

Transmedia storytelling unfolds a universe through multiple channels. The technological developments of recent years have brought forth new formats, genres and platforms owing to which stories have surpassed being omnichannel linear events; their universe consists of an abundance of elements that are intelligible both in their own right and within the context of other elements. This universe offers innumerable possibilities for the creator to unfold his/her story and draw the audience into its world.

The workshop will be held in English.
