Archviz Image Generalist

Module 2 - For Intermediate 3D artists

As archviz software becomes widely available, it will be more difficult for 3D artists to stand out from the crowd. To create a professional archviz image, it is no longer enough to exactly show reality. As a successful artist, you have to be able to develop a mood that matches the scene, apply storytelling and follow basic artistic composition techniques too. The more multiskilled you are at creating an image, the more sought-after you will be as a 3D artist.

Brick has established its reputation as one of the most renowned studios in the architectural visualization industry. Their artists share valuable expertise through their educational brand, Brick Academy, which extends its curriculum to MOME Open via this course.

Syllabus of Module 2

The weekly sessions consist of two parts. We will cover the theoretical parts and the review sessions on Thursday evenings and do the practical sessions on Fridays in Brick’s classroom, led by bilingual mentors.

The program focuses on creating more engaging images at the initial phase of the project. This includes storytelling, placing characters on the visualization and finalizing the image at the post-production phase.

One of the highlights of the course is the review sessions – mentors reflect on your progress and analyze the newly created pictures. We strongly recommend you practice weekly, preparing for the upcoming sessions by re-doing the exercises of the last session.
